Game Day & Field Set Up

Game Day

For all home games, the team playing the first game on each field is responsible for the field set up, and the team playing the last game on a field is responsible for packing up the field. The team/parents are responsible for setting up the field to leave the coach free to warm up players or plan the game and substitutions. Below is a list of what is required for field set up and pack up, by age group.

Field Set Up

Under 6/7

This age group uses Findlay Park fields 3 & 6 (refer Field page). The fields only require the small pop-up goals to be assembled an located at each end of the field. The goals are stored in the shipping container to the west of the clubhouse, and are required to be packed up and returned after the last game.

Under 8/9

This age group uses fields 4 & 5 (refer Field page). The fields will require the nets to be fitted to the goals (the goals should already be in position). The nets are located in a black trolley in the shipping container to the west of the clubhouse, and are required to be packed up and returned after the last game. The nets should be fitted using the clips and velcro tags included in the trolley. Please ensure that no kids swing on these goals!

Under 10/11

This age group uses fields 2A (North) and 2B (South) (refer Field page). The fields will require the goals to be moved in to position (and sometimes the nets fitted) and the corner and half way posts to be erected. The goals are aluminium and can be carried by two adults or 4 children (with parental guidance). The goals are located next to the shipping container to the west of the clubhouse, and are required to be returned and locked up after the last game. The corner posts are stored in the shipping container.

Under 12 and above

All age groups from under 12 and above use the full size fields, Field 1 and Field 2 (refer Field page). These fields require the nets to be fitted, and the corner  and half way flags to be erected. The nets and flags are stored in the wheelie bins (one per field) in the shipping container to the west of the clubhouse, and are required to be returned and locked up after the last game. Please note, field 1 will also require the installation of the box net support posts (removing the caps from the in ground sleeves prior to installation, and replacing them after pack up).
