17/4/2010 The first ever Port Saints Ladies team took to the field against a very depleted Kempsey Hornets Flaming Steer at Findlay Avenue.
The numerical superiority by Port Saints soon shown as within the first 5 minutes, Jessica (Grubber) Ryan scored the first of her four goals. Saints keeper Maryanne Kay switched to striker in the 2nd half after going through the first 45 minutes without touching the ball.
Sweeper Rebecca Blemith smothered any attempt on the saints goal with her control of the back line giving the midfield plenty of options.
Kempsey managed two good efforts on goal in the 2nd half to show they still had the spirit to keep going.
Port Saints finished up with 15 goals to nil. They play  Wauchope BWL at Wauchope next saturday

25/4/2010 Port Saints Ladies were brought back down to earth with a bang against a young, quick and agile Wauchope BWL team.

Port Saints struggled against the pace of the two Wauchope Strikers who were continually being fed teasing balls from their central midfield who were  exploiting gaps in the Port Saints defence.
It took less than 10 minutes for Wauchope to demonstrate their superior firepower as they broke through the Port Saints defence and sent the ball over the keepers head.

Wauchope punished Port Saints another 5 times before Tracey Whitling hit a consolation goal before the break. The 2nd half, Port Saints had a lot of possession in midfield however they were caught too often on the counter-attack, and  Wauchopes strikers were clinical finishers with keeper Maryanne Kay having no chance to stop them increasing their tally of goals.

1/5/2010 Port Saints Ladies struggled to get a grip on the game against a very strong and confident PMFC side. The saints defence had difficulty getting orgainsed allowing PMFC to take every opportunity to find gaps and put pressure on the very impressive keeper Mez Kay.
Jo Jones switched from Left Midfield to sweeper to try and stem the flow of goals going into the back of the saints net. PMFC goalie had little to do as Saints when they did break out of their own half were snuffed out by the PMFC backs.
Port Saints 0-13 PMFC Pelaton

15/5/2010 Port Saints were condemned to a 4th consecutive defeat by fellow strugglers Port Macquarie FC Cobras.
Saints Striker Jessica Ryan came off injured after 5 minutes leaving the team with no recognised goal scorer thus any attack on the PMFC goal was quickly snuffed out.
The first 20 minutes the sides were pretty even until a lapse in Port Saints defence in their own penalty area allowed PMFC to squeeze a shot passed the Saints keeper. PMFC Cobras went two-nil up after a quick breakaway goal. Saints  still did not give up until the 2nd half when the defence again could not clear the ball out of their own area.

With one point and one main road  separating these two teams, This local Derby  was going to be a close game. Several of the Saints players came from Port United so there were many points to prove.
Port United started off with more attacking options but were quickly doused out by a solid Saints defence. Simone Dreyer was a pivot in central midfield preventing any domination by a more experienced Port United Team. Port United scored the only goal of the game on a quick break from defence. Port Saints could have equalised may times in the second half but without any recognised strikers their luck was not going to change. Port United held out for a one-nil victory leaving the Saints rueing their lost chances

Port Saints Ladies went in to the match knowing they have to defend hard against a very talented and fast Wauchope BWL team. On the last encounter, Wauchope put ten past Port Saints so this time, Port Saints dug their heels in.
The Saints back line did a good job for the first 20 minutes snuffing out any possible threat on their goal. Unfortunately, a couple of defensive errors s gifted Wauchope with the first two goals.
The Wauchope keeper was rarely kept occupied as Port Saints could not get through the solid Wauchope back line. The third Wauchope goal was hit well and in to the top of the net leaving the Port Saints keeper Mez Kay stranded.
The second half, Port Saints kept their heads held high as Wauchope could only get one goal.
The overall performance from Port Saints was a 100% improvement and are starting to find some rhythm and flow.

Table Toppers PMFC Pelaton showed why they were there with some lovely passing skills and off the ball running. Port Saints were chasing the game from the start unable to intercept or make a dent in PMFC's possesion game.
The previous encounter was the Saints largest defeat and PMFC were going to build on that by putting 14 goals in the back of the net.
Angela McKechnie did get one back for the visitors by dribbling past 3 defenders and going around the PMFC keeper to blast the ball in the top corner. Port Saints had the ball in the back of the net for a second time but it was ruled out due to an infringement.
Good News for Port Saints was the return of Star Striker Jessica Ryan who has not played since round Three
An excellent penalty save by Saints keeper Mez Kay was the highlight of the afternoon for the Port Saints supporters.

3rd July 2010
Port Saints Ladies finally changed their fortunes with a 3-2 win against PMFC Cobras.
The first half saw Port Saints controlling the game in the Cobras half however they were ineffective in front of goal with most shots soaring high over the cross bar.
The second half, PMFC Cobra took it to Port Saints assisted by the strong winds and with persistence their attack eventually broke through the Saints defence to send them one - nil up.
Port Saints fought back with an equaliser with Angela McKechnie running down the left to slide the ball passed the PMFC keeper. Again, PMFC went into the lead and it looked like it was going to stay that way until a change of strategy saw PMFC leaving 3 in defence. This gave Port Saints some openings and with 5 minutes to go Kaela White followed through on a shot by Angela Mckechnie to make it 2-2 then within 2 minutes, Angela Mckechnie hit home the winner.

11th July 2010
Port Saints defence was resilient against Wauchope as Wauchope did not muster a decent shot on goal till a perfectly timed header after 20 minutes hit the back of the Port Saints net. Port Saints Ladies did make gains into the Wauchope half with Kaela White and Jessica Ryan going close.
Wauchope made it 2-nil within the first minute of the second half however a spectacular 25 yard shot from the bye line by Jo Jones put the saints back in the match. Within minutes, Jo Jones  muscled her way through the Wauchope defence and nearly scored the equaliser.
As Port Saints began to tire, Wauchope took advantage and scored their third goal to walk away with all the points
