U6 Port Saints Bobcats v Port Saints Jaguars:
The Port Saints Under 6 Bobcats took on their club mates the Jaguars in their Round 9 game and managed 4 unanswered goals in the first half with a dominant display. Diljot and Byron worked their way through the mid-field to set up a number of chances, Evan worked the sidelines and had the opposition on the back foot time and time again, Taylor went kick happy and had his biggest involvement all season while Jett hunted around for opportunities all game and was rewarded with his first goal of the year. The Jaguars grabbed an early goal in the second half but it was the Bobcats with 2 more goals that sealed a comprehensive victory. It was one of their best team efforts this season and made it 3 wins on the trot. The hard work these guys are putting in at training is paying off on game day. Goal Scorers were Byron (2), Evan (2) and Jett. Byron's tenacious work and non-stop effort saw him take out the weekly award. Big thanks to the Jaguars who played fair and tried hard all game.
U7 Port Saints Dingos v Camden Haven Reds
Port Saints Dingos hosted Camden Haven Reds on Saturday. With the Dingos coach away this weekend, 'assistant-coach' Paul Clarke stepped in, and with an undefeated record to maintain, directed the Dingos to defeat the Reds in a fantastic game. Thanks Paul you can breathe easy now! Incredible effort to the 'player of the match' Braydn Cook who scored his first goal of the season, warming into the games after having the first few weeks off due to a broken collar-bone. Well done Braydn!! Cobe Rose also got through the tough defence to score a goal, with Mitchell Clarke, and Tallis Petro being the other goal scorers 6 between them. Awesome guys!! Jaylen Butler and Ella Wighton showed their great team spirit being right in the action, while also demonstrating terrific teamwork to defeat the opposition. Well done Dingos! Thanks to the Camden Haven Reds for a great game.
U8 Port Saints Tigers v Wauchope Timbercutters: After two weeks out, the Tigers came back in fine form to win their second game of season by a good margin. Excited boys/victory hugs/high-fives all round!! With no subs the team played a huge game. Consistent pressure was on, as Tigers kept ball close to Timbercutters' goalie most of match. Star scorers were Isaac Plunkett & Charley Terry with a sensational goal by Chris Hamilton. Jack Hyde, a familiar streak of fire on field; great passing skills, footwork and defence by Tobias Marsham, Roy Krebs and Tim Myhill and the united front of the Tigers team ensured their success today!

U8 Port Saints Sharks v Port FC Pythons:
The Sharkies with no substitutes and were one player down on field and had to fight hard against some skilled Pythons. Harrison Burton and Joshua Milner displayed brilliant determination in the goals to keep the Python's at bay and Angus Williams and Charlie Keys played hard in midfield while Vaughan Lickley and Bailey Anderson were the goal scorers for the Sharks. The Pythons were too good on the day but well done to all for a good battle til the end.
U9 Port Saints Sharks V Port United Dragons:
After a few weeks off the boys were praying for no rain during the week so they could enjoy a good game of soccer. They played a tough game against the Dragons on Saturday ending with a close score. Harry Noonan our resident goal keeper stopped many an attempt by the Dragons and coped with the pressure really well. Logan Nozworthy had a standout game with plenty of tough tackling, playing a very important role in keeping the scores low. Jukiah Crowhurst was in the thick of the action throughout the game, as were Caleb, Lachie and Mitchell. Liam Johnson and Jesse Taylor teamed up to score the one goal that made it through for the Sharks. Well done boys.

U11 Port Saints Wildcats v Port United Goannas: The Wildcats headed off to Dixie Park for a tough game against the Goannas. The Wildcats didn't have many opportunites to score with most of the game being played down in their own defensive end of the field which made it a busy game for the goalies. Despite the score at the final whistle, this week Eloise Pepper and Clare McLachlan were stand out players for the Wildcats, with Clare taking out player of the week.
